HUMPHREY - GRIFFIN Reunion

Wesley - The Humphrey-Griffin family reunion was held Sunday, July 16 at Wesley Community building. The morning was spent in greetings and general get together. At noon, a picnic dinner was served cafeteria style. After the noon meal, a business meeting was called. Due to the illness of Mrs. Sam Potter, Opal Humphreys Endicott acfted as secretary and treasurer. It was decided to continue to hold the reunion the 3rd Sunday in July at the same place.
Officers elected for 1951 were: Charles Humphreys, President; Phoebe Humphreys, secret-treas. Two deaths in the last year were: James Humphreys, Feb 18; Harvey Griffin June 2. Several births were reported.
Those present were: Albert Humphreys, wife and son; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Humphreys; Willard Humphreys and family all of Potomac, Ill; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Humphreys, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Humphreys, Mrs. Helen Doan and son; Mrs. Gertrude Humphreys, all of Crawfordsville; Carl Humphreys and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Humphreys of Waveland; Dwight Alexander and family; Mrs. Isabel Millage; Mrs. Ella Selsor of Danville, Ill; Mr. and Mrs. Ross Humphreys, Waynetown; and Mrs. Charles Humphreys, Miss Virginia Lou Humphreys of Hillsboro; Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Swit6zer and family, Lafayette; Mr. and Mrs. Loral Endicott of Jamestown; Mr. and Mrs. E.W> Potter and family, Howard Seyfert, of Rossville, Ill; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Smith, Mrs. Ina Humphreys of Ladoga; Harry Fruits and familyh of Crawfordsville; Robert Edwards and family of Waynetown.
