Advance -- Robert G. BACON 65 a retired farmer died Saturday evening in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. He was born near Newtown the son of Charles F and Luella Martin Bacon July 26, 1912.He Graduated from Newtown HS and was a member of the United Methodist Church; Richland Lodge F & AM ; Newtown Eastern Star. He attended Danville business College. Married Pauline Singleton 8-22-1931 in Wingate In. She survives. Also surviving one son John Charles Bacon, a sister Mrs. Ruth Luchmiller and two grandchildren. Funeral 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Crumley-William Funeral Home, Hillsboro Dr. Eric Dean officiate. Burial in Newtown Cemetery - kbz
