Mrs. Abbie Baker, wife of Francis M. Baker, died at          her home in Linnsburg this morning at three. She had been          in poor health for some time and death was due to          paralysis. Mrs. Baker was sixty-nine years old and was          born in Butler County, Ohio. In the spring of 1857 she          came with her parents to Indiana and settled in the          vicinity where her demise occurred. She was married to          Francis M. Baker September 15, 1870. The greater part of          her life has been spent in the vicinity of Linnsburg          where she was held in high esteem. Mrs. Baker was a          member of the Methodist church and lived a consistent          Christian life. She is survived by her husband and the          following children: W. E. Baker, of Danville, Ill.: Mrs.          Will Myers and Mrs. Oliver Peck, both of Linnsburg. A          brother, J. R. Linn, of Highland, also survives her. Mrs.          Baker was an aunt of Dr. W. T. Linn of this city. The          funeral service will be held from the Methodist church at          Mace Thursday afternoon at two. Rev. Greenway of Ladoga          will officiate and interment will be made in the K. of P.          Cemetery. - kbz
