John Jackson Baker, 62, of 1200 Mill St., was dead on arrival Sunday afternoon at Culver Hospital after suffering a heart attack at the home of his son, Max. Mr. Baker resided with his son. Mr. Baker retired from O.K. Galloway and Son less than a month ago. Prior to joining the automotive firm, he had been employed by the Farm Bureau. He was a member of Linden-Kirkpatrich United Methodist Church. Born Nov. 2, 1908, at Spencer, he was the son of James and Millie McCormick Baker. He was married in November, 1928, to Anna Faye Gill. Survivors include two sons, Fred and Max, both of Crawfordsville; four sisters, Mrs. •Mary Swick of New Richmond, Mrs. Margaret Aleksa of Oak Zandon, Mrs. Thelma Perkins of Romney, and Mrs. Retha Whipple of Crawfordsville, and five grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Dick Baker officating. Burial will be in Romney Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Tuesday. – jlr
