John Milton BAKER died at his home at 6:40 o'clock Monday after a long illness. He was born in Somerset, Ky Sept 23, 1871 the son of Walton and Emily Vaught Baker. He was married to Sally Vaught in 1902 and they have resided in this community where he was engaged in farming for the past 20 years where he was compelled to retire about a year ago and moved to Waveland from the farm. There survive, the wife, a son, who was visiting him at the time of his death, Sherman of Crawfordsville, a daughter, Mrs. Vill Winland of Ridge Farm, Ill, a brother, George of Ridge Farm and Elias and two sisters, Mrs. Addie Wetmore and Mrs. Sarah ___ of Somerset, Ky and other near relatives. Funeral services were held this afternoon in Crawfordsville in charge of Rev. Paul Million, pastor of the Christian Church of which faith he belonged. - kbz
