Martha Ellen Baldwin, 53, of 411 E. Market Steret died Monday at 4:50 pm. at Culver Hospital. She had been ill for two years. Mrs. Baldwin was born in Tippecanoe County Feb 18, 1899, the daughter of Andrew and Alice Lipprant Brakefield. In 1920 she married Alfred Dossett. Mr. Dossett preceded her in death in 1936. In 1939 she married Shirley Baldwin who survives. She was a member of Calvary Tabernacle Church. Surviving in addition to the husband are three brothers, Edward Brakefield of Thorntown; Everett and Forrest Brakefield of Bloomington; four sisters, Mrs. Elva Dailey of Danvers, Ill; Mrs. Bertha Beckley of Brownsburg, Mrs. Dora Kemble and Mrs. Gladys McConaughay of Lafayette; one stepson, Charles Baldwin of near Bainbridge; five stepgrandchildren; 12 nieces and 15 nephews. One child, Gwendolyn Dossett died in infancy. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Calvary Tabernacle Church with Rev. Lester Wright in charge. Friends may call at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Tuesday. Burial in Mace K of P Cemetery - kbz
