Henry H. Banks, 80, died at 2:30 a.m. Monday at Culver Hospital where he had been a patient since Feb 22. He resided at 612 Brook St. He was born June 18, 1885, at Grand Island, the son of W. B. and Alice Holland Banks. He was educated in Crawfordsville schools. He amrried Sophia Estie Cox in 1919. Mr. Banks was a member of the First Christian Church and Odd Fellows Lodge. Prior to retirement he was custodian in the Crawfordsville school system for 23 years. He is survived by the widow and a sister, Mrs. Annette Duncan of Pamona, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wed at the Powers Funeral Home. Rev. Howard MIller and Rev. OK Malone will be in charge of the service. Burial in Oak Hill. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday. - kbz
