Mrs. Eliza Bannon, widow of David Bannon and a lifelong resident of Montgomery County died at the home of her son Clarence Bannon West Main Street Thursday evening at 8. Mrs. Bannon had been seriously ill since Tuesday. Her death was caused by paralysis. Mrs. Bannon was born on a farm north of Waynetown on April 4, 1861, a daughter of Velzy (sic - Vezy) and Mary Jane Bunnell. On March 9, 1887 she was married to David Bannon who preced her in death on March 3, 1928. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Surviving Mrs. Bannon are one son, Clarence, at whose home she passed away, two brothers, William Bunnell of Waynetown and James Bunnell of Indianapolis, three nieces, three nephews, a host of friends. One brother Jerome Bunnell died Sept 9, 1925. The remains will be taken to her home in Waynetown Saturday by Wade & Murphy Funeral directors and friends may call and pay their respects. Funeral services will be held Sunday morning at 11 at the Baptist Church in Waynetown with Rev. Cletis Brown in charge - typed by kbz
