Dr. Clifford Banta of Swarthmore. Pa., a former resident of Marshall, died at 5:15 p.m. Monday in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania at Philadelphia after a brief illness. He had retired in 1958 after a long career with the E. I. DuPont de Nemours & Co. A son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Banta, he was reared in the Marshall community and was a graduate of Wabash College with the Class of 1915. He was a member of Beta Theta Pi social fraternity. He received his masters degree at the University of Colo and his doctors at the (sorry rest is gone)……. - jlr
