Leroy Barker, 68, of 605 E. Parke St., Rockville died at 4:30 a.m. Sat at his home. he had been a maintenance man for Olin Corp at Covington until his retirement in 1970. He marr. Alberta "Bertie" Maxfield on Dec. 25, 1938. She survives. He was born Sept. 11, 1913 in Parke County, a son of Ira & Lula Owens Barker. Surviving are 3 daughters, Mrs. Sue Asher of Clinton; Mrs. Carol Cox of Centertown Ky; and Mrs. Dorothy Truax of Rockville; two sons, Robert Barker of Mecca and Terry of Rosedale; three brothers, Owen of Rockville and Frank & Ernest of Houston, Tx; 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren . Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tues in Butler Fun Home at Rockville with Rev. Lindy G. Russell officiating . Burial Memory Garden Cem. at Rockville. - transcribed by kbz
