Owen R. Barker, 85, of Rockville died at 2:35 a.m. Tues in Vermillion County Hospital at Clinton. He was an Army vet of WWII. His memberships included American Legion Post 48 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1752 Rockville. He was a retired laborer. He was born May 24, 1908 in Parke County to Ira and Lulu Owen Barker. Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie L. Gregg of Rockville and Debra J. Sollars of Clinton; one brother, Ernest of Pasadena, TX; 8 grandchildren and four great grandchildren . Private burial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Rockville cemetery. Butler Fun Home in charge of the arrangement. - kbz
