Ladoga - Nellie Florence Barnard, 47 of Rt 2, Ladoga died Tuesday evening at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. She had been in failing health the past 22 months. A life resident of Montgomery County, she was a member of Ladoga Christian Church and Ladoga Rebekah Lodge. She was a graduate of Ladoga HS. She was born Dec 6, 1932, a daughter of Fred and Cecil Servies Sandusky. She was married March 4, 1952 to Harley Barnard, who survives. Surviving are 3 children, Mrs. Rhonda Bell of Rt 1, Wingate and Denise and Alan at home; four brothers, Jim of Rt 1, Ladoga; Bob of Rt 2, Ladoga ; Bill of Ladoga and Darrell of Rt 2, Roachdale; and one grandson, Bryan. Services are at 2 p.m. Friday in Ladoga Christian Church with Rev. Leo Langston officiating. Burial will be in Ladoga Cemetery. Friends may call at Perkins Funeral Home after 4 pm.
