Mrs. Lavinia Brady Bain, 91 former Waynetown resident died at 9 a.m. Monday at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.  She had been residing at the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin.  She lived in Waynetown from 1914-1934.  Mrs. Bain was born June 1, 1874, Feb 2, 1897 she married William Hadley Bain. He preceded her in death Dec 15, 1920.  She was a member of the Waynetown Chapter 435, OES a former member of the Methodist Church at Waynetown and of the Waynetown Garden Club.

Survivors include three children: Mrs. George H. Iftner of Compass Lake, Fla; William F of Indianapolis and Mrs. Carol E. Young of Indianapolis; four grandchildren including George R. Iftner of Compass Lake, Fla; William F. of Indianapolis and Mrs. Carol E. Young of Indianapolis; four grandchildren including George R. Iftner of Crawfordsville and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a twin sister, three brothers and an infant great grandson.

Funeral services will be at Shirley Brothers Irving Hills Chapel at 5377 E Washington St, Indianapolis at 1 p.m. Thursday. Graveside OES services will be at about 3 p.m. at the Waynetown Masonic cemetery.
