Mrs. James Ball died at her home four miles west of Yountsville Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock. Mrs. Ball had been an invalid for more than fifty years and her death had been expected many times, but she would revive and get better. A few weeks ago she was stricken with paralysis and never rallied from the stroke. Mrs. Ball was a consistent member of the Old School Baptist Church of Waynetown. Mrs. Ball leaves four sons and one daughter, Mrs. Cook, one brother in Illinois, two sisters in this city, Mrs. John Busenbark and Mrs. W. H. Jackson, (who is now very sick at her home on East Market Street) to survive her, together with a host of relatives and friends. The funeral took place this morning at ten o’clock from the Union Chapel Church, near their home. – thanks so much to s for all her hard work on this site
