Ladoga - Mrs. Edna Bell Ball, 73, mother of Ernest Ball, Ladoga banker died at 9:15 a.m. Monday  in the home of her son at Ladoga. She had been in failing health four years and serioiusly ill two days.

Born Nov 26, 1880, southeast of Waynetown, Mrs. Ball was the daughter of Emerson and Hattie Miller Wilson. She married Floyd W. Ball March 3, 1901.

Mrs. Ball was a life resident of Montgomery County.  She was a member of the Christian Union Church near Waynetown.

Surviving besides the son, at whose home she died are three daughters: Mrs. Thelma Masten of Indianapolis; Mrs. Mabel Simms of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Eula Sonricker of Ft. Worth, Tex; a sister, Ruth Wilson of Crawfordsville; four brothers, Ray Wilson of Princeton, Ralph and Earl Wilson, both of Crawfordsville and Al Wilson of New Market; 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.  

The husband preceded her in death several years ago.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Christian Union Church near Waynetown. Burial will be in the cemetery near the church.

Friends may call at the Cox Funeral Home in ladog after noon Tuesday. - kb
