Crawfordsville – Dr. Thomas Z. Ball, 89, retired Crawfordsville physician and veteran of the Spanish-American War and WWI, died yesterday in his home here. Dr. Ball had a medical practice in Crawfordsville 34 years. He came here form Waveland, his birthplace. He was a life member of the Association of Medical Surgeons, a 50-year member of the Waveland Masonic Lodge and the Army reserve Corps and membr of the Presbyterian Church, Elks Lodge and American Medical Association. Dr. Ball was a graduate of Wabash College and former Rush Medical College, Chicago. Services will be held Sat at 10 a.m. in Bright Funeral Home with burial at Waveland Presbyterian Cemetery. = kbz
