IDA WERT DOTSON BARNETT

Mrs. Ida BARNETT, 89, who resided at Bel Air Apartments 210 W. Main St died early Monday morning at Culver Hospital. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Women's Relief Corps and the Senior Citizens. Mrs. Barnett was born Sept 4, 1883 in Fountain county, the daughter of Joseph and Susann Fine Wert. She married Charles Dotson Jan 7, 1903 and he died March 17, 1926. She then married DW Barnett Dec 24, 1927. He died June 19, 1961. Survivors include two stepsons, Wilbur Barnett and Carroll Barnett; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Myrtle Dolbeer, 3 nephews and a niece. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Services for Mrs. Barnett will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Howard F. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday. - transcribed by kbz
