Miss Emma A. Barnhart, 70, of Rt. 1, Hillsboro, died Thursday (Dec. 31, 1970) in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. She had been admitted to the hospital after falling in her home on November 30. Miss Barnhart had worked as a practical nurse in homes in the Hillsboro-Waynetown area during the past few years. She had moved from Urbana, Ill., to the Hillsboro area in 1932. She was a member of the First Baptist Church at Urbana and had received her education in Urbana. She was employed by Indiana Bell Telephone Co. before going into practical nursing. She was born March 26, 1900, in Mahomet, Ill., to William R. and Emma Dooley Barnhart. Surviving is her nephew, Charles W. Booe, with whom she had made her home in Hillsboro. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Miss Flossie M. Barnhart in 1947 and Mrs. Elsie M. Booe in 1968. Services Saturday in Servies-Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown. Rev. Donald Selman officiated. Burial in Waynetown Cemetery.--waw
