Katie Barry, 89, of Ben Hur Estates died at 8:25 p.m. Wednesday in Culver Hospital. Mrs. Barry was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, White Shrine and Daughters of the American Revolution. She was born Jan. 31, 1890, at Lebanon, a daughter of Charles and Mary Jane Edwards Clark. She attended school at Yountsville. She married John A. Barry, who preceded her in death. Surviving are a son, John Barry of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Gay Tietho of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a sister, Nellie Clark of Crawfordsville; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Jump officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Park Cemetery at Chicago. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday. – jlr
