Bessie Bassett, daughter of Cap. Leslie Bassett, of Richland, Iowa, and niece of Mrs. Salome S. McCain, of this city, died at Olathe, Kan., on Saturday last, of typhoid fever, after an illness of some three weeks. She attended the Crawfordsville public school last year, making her home meanwhile with her aunt. At the time of her death she was 18 years of age. = Kim H
