Mrs. Jacob Beam died Monday and the old gentleman [he lived two more years] and Miss Lily were lying at the point of death today. Same column - Jacob Beam and wife of near Waynetown are very dangerously ill. Mrs. Beam's recovery is despaired of. Mr. Beam is one of the defendants in the ? Follock damage suit. - kbz

The funeral of Mrs. Jacob Beam occurred yesterday and while the family was attending the funeral, Mrs. Beam’s married daughter died. The remains were shipped this morning to her home in Kokomo. The condition of Jacob Beam is still precarious.
