Basil P. Bean, 83, Rt. 7, Crawfordsville, died Saturday night in the Ben Hur Nursing Home. Mr. Bean had been a farmer in the Crawfordsville area all of his adult life. He was born May 24, 1893, to Joseph A. and Lucinda Bean. He is survived by a niece, Mary Chesterson of Crawfordsville. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Masonic Cemetery. The Rev. Dick Baker will officiate. Friends may call at Hunt & Son Funeral Home after 7 p.m. tonight.--waw
