Winter Edward BEAN, age 75 died at his home here Monday night at a little after 8 o'clock. He had been in failing health for several months but took to his bed a few days ago of a heart ailment which was the immediate cause of his death. He was born April 18, 1873 in Toledo, Illinois, the son of Jesse M. and Elizabeth Bean. He was united in marriage to Maude May White Sept 18, 1896 in Effingham, Illinois. He was a member of the Christian Church in Illinois. Survivors are the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Alsop of Chicago and Miss Winifred Bean of Waveland; a son, Jesse Monroe Bean of Urbana, Illinois; 4 sisters, 2 brothers, 9 grandchildren and one great grandchild. A son, Vernon preceded him in death. The funeral was held at the Machledt Funeral Home Wednesday. morning at 11 with Rev. CN McBrayer officiating. Burial in Urbana, Illinois.- kbz
