Chambersburg – Evelyn I. Beard, 87 of 1060 Lincoln Way East, died 15 7:35 a.m. Saturday Feb 15, 2003 in Chambersburg Hospital. Born March 14, 1915 in Greencastle, she was the daughter of the late Harvey C. and Bessie Stine Beard. Early in life, she worked at South Mountain Restoration Center. She last worked for a non-medical home care service. Surviving is a stepsister, Katherine Pensinger of Chambersburg. Four brothers preceded her in death. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle, the Rev. Lester F. Stine will officiate. There will no viewing. Arrangements are by Robert Sellers Funeral Home, Chambersburg. – kbz
