Waynetown - Mrs. Bessie E. Beck, 72, Waynetown, a resident of this community all her married life and member of Waynetown Christian Church, died Tuesday in St. ELizabeth Hospital at Lafayette. Born Feb 23, 1905, she was a daughter of John W. and Etha Keeffer Hyatt. She was graduated in 1923 from Hillsboro HS. She married Paul E. Beck in 1924. He survives. Other survivors are: two sons, Paul Jr. of Veedersburg and Gerald of Lafayette; a daughter, Mrs. James (Marianna) Slavens of Indianapolis, a brother Harry V. Hyatt of Hillsboro; a sister, Miss Bernice Hyatt of Hillsboro; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Thomas Funeral Home here with Rev. Herbert Woodland officiatnig. Burial will be in Waynetown masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. - kbz
