Birdel F. Beck, 83 of 1512 Fletcher St died at 1:50 p.m. yesterday in his home following an extended illness. Born near Darlington Montgomery County, Mr. Beck lived in Anderson the past 44 years. He was a member of the Anderson Fraternal Order of Eagles. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Baker Brothers Funeral Home and burial will following Cox Cemetery near Crawfordsville. The Rev. Monroe G. Schuster, pastor of Central Christian Church will officiate. Friends are being received at the funeral home after 7 pm. Today. Survivors include a son, Orland B. Beck, Indianapolis; a stepson, Frank Hodson, Middletown; a brother, Kelley M. Beck, Indianapolis; a granddaughter, Mrs. Janie Rogers, Chesterfield and two great grandchildren. - kbz
