Claude E. Beck, 57, of 1719 Monon Avenue, a cement contractor died Monday morning at 9:30 o’clock at the Home hospital. Born in Putnam County, he married Grace Payne Aug 24, 1902. Besides his widow, he leaves a son, Virgil Beck, this city and four daughters: Mrs. Homer Siple and Mrs. Walter Hanrahan, Hammond; Mrs. Morris Hardy, Bloomington and Mrs. Morris Platt, Lafayette. Friends may call at the residence after 1 p.m. Tuesday. The body will be shipped to Bloomington, Wednesday noon over the Monon railroad. Services in Bloomington Thursday afternoon and burial in Payne cemetery that city. Soller and Baker Funeral directors in charge. -kbz
