Beck - Lillie May

Lillie May Beck was born in Montgomery County, Ind., Oct. 14, 1870, died Jan. 12, 1900, aged 29 years, 2 months and 28 days. She united with the Providence Christian Church March 12, 1886, under the ministration of Rev. Abram Plunkett.  She possessed more than ordinary Christian grace and fortitude, as was shown by her love and devotion to her father during his recent sickness and death. Such a life of patience and earnestness is a noble example and even a blessing to the world. She was cut down in the morning of life like a tender plant before the chilling blasts of winter. Her work is done; she has ceased from her labors and entered into rest. She had gone from the church militant to join the church triumphant. She had chosen that good part which shall never be taken away from her—“Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord.” Her spirit has gone to dwell in that home prepared for good people. -s
