Mrs. Elizabeth Beckner died at her home Tuesday morning and was buried in the I. O. O. F. Cemetery at this place Wednesday. Services were conducted by Rev. Creighton, of Crawfordsville. -s

Mrs. Elizabeth Beckner, who resided eight miles northeast of the city, near Darlington, died Tuesday of consumption. Her husband died three years ago. She was an old and respected citizen. To know her was to love her.
Funeral services were held at the Christian Church at Darlington on Wednesday conducted by Rev. Creighton. She had been a consistent member of the Christian Church for fifty years and had lived in the county the same length of time. Interment was in Odd Fellows’ Cemetery at Darlington. -s
