Broken Arrow, Oklahoma - Dorothy Blanche Beebe, 85, of 2403 S. Hickory Avenue, Broken Arrow, Okl, died at 10 a.m. Monday (Oct 24) in her home. She resided at Crawfordsville from 1930-72, when she moved to Broken Arrow. Her memberships included First Christian Church at Broken Arrow. She worked as a volunteer at Gatesway Thrift Shop for 10 years. Mrs. Beebe was born Oct 15, 1903 at Danvenport, Iowa to John and Laura Taylor. her husband, Chester Beebe, preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons, John Fred of Eugene, Ore and George C. and James E of Broken Arrow; 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Memorial services are set for 2 p.m. Thursday in First Christian Church at Broken Arrow. The body will be cremated.
