James Bell, a prominent farmer of Clark Township while engaged at work on his plac eon Saturday died quite suddenly caused by heart failure it is supposed.

James Bell, a prominent citizen of Clark Township, died at Ladoga Sunday evening. He went out to milk the cows when suddenly throwing up both hands, he gave a cry and fell over dead. It was paralysis. He was about 65 years of age and one of the most highly respected men in the county. He was a Republican and an Odd Fellow and a man of considerable wealth, owning among other properties a business block in Ladoga and a large farm near there. He leaves a wife and children grown
