Source: Crawfordsville Review Monday March 13, 1916

New Market March 11 -- Mrs. James BELL one of the most respected women of this place died at her home about midnight Friday night. Her death was caused by a nervous breakdown caused by grief and worry over the death of her son in Buffalo last summer. The shock of his death was so great that Mrs. Bell never recovered. The young man who was suffering with throat trouble was found dead in bed one morning. Mrs. Bell was 50 and was an active church Leader in the affairs of the Christian Church here her husband and one child Mrs. Corda Ford of Columbus, Ohio survive. There are also two grandchildren. -- kbz
