Marjorie L. Bell, 85, of 208 S. Vine St died at 12:15 a.m. Tuesday in the WInona Memorial Hospital at Indianapolis. Mrs. Bell was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Crawfordsville Art League, Crawfordsville Country Club, Republican women's Club and Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She was also a member and past president of Tri-Kappa Sorority. She was a 1929 graduate of Crawfordsville HS and attended Purdue Univeristy. She was born Aug 26, 1911 in Montgomery County to Frank and Ethel Wilson Chadwick. She married Estel Bell Dec 24, 1933 in Montgomery County. He survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Sharon Remley of Crawfordsville; a son, J. Frank Bell of Millersburg, Ohio; a sister Madge Rice of Delray Beach, Fl; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Morris "Shang" Chadwick. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Lynn Denison officiating. Entombment will take place in Oak Hill Mausoleum. Friends may call 4-6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to First United Methodist Church.
