Mrs. Ida R. Bennett, 72, a native of Montgomery County died Monday morning in Culver Hospital after a short illness. She had been a patient there since April 11. Born Feb. 2, 1890, her parents were Andrew and Nettie Love Plunkett. She was first married to Mansford Maltsberger in 1913. After his death, she married Ernest Bennett in 1953. He died in 1958. She attended Crawfordsville schools and was a member of the Milligan Memorial Presbyterian Church. She was employed at the Indiana Match Co. at one time. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Harold Zeller of Crawfordsville; a brother, Edgar A. Plunkett of Crawfordsville; a step-son, Kenneth Bennett of Gary, and 13 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Bright Funeral Home with Rev. John R. Servies and Rev. O. K. Malone officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Tuesday.
