Bennett - Jasper

Mrs. U. M. Scott Tuesday received a letter from Elm Branch, Ill., announcing the death there of her cousin, Jasper W. Bennett, formerly a blacksmith of this city. He left here about fifteen years ago and had been in ill health some time prior to his death. He was a well known Odd Fellow and was a nephew of Mrs. Betsy Wasson, of this city. -s
