John Bennett, an old and well known resident of Montgomery county, died of consumption at his home eight miles south west of town on Saturday evening. He was 65 years of age and came to Indiana from Kentucky in 1852, having been a resident of this county from that time until his death. He had been a member of the Missionary Baptist church. - thanks to Kim
