WAYNETOWN – Nina Bennett, 82, mother of Mrs. Donald (Ruth) Sharpe of Waynetown, died Sunday in Carmen Nursing Home at Crawfordsville. She had lived most of her life in Bardstown, Ky., and had moved to the Crawfordsville area seven years ago. Mrs. Bennett was a member of the Bardstown United Methodist Church. She was born in Somerset, Ky., on Dec. 10, 1894, a daughter of Reece E. and Lelia Orwin Smith. She married William H. Bennett on June 4, 1918. Surviving besides the daughter are two sons, Donald of Sarasota, Fla., and Bill of Shreveport, La., and eight grandchildren. Services will be Wednesday in Mann & Greenwell Funeral Home at Bardstown. Burial will be in a Bardstown cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday. – jlr
