Waynetown Feb 10 --Phillip BIDDLE 40, a man prominent in the affairs of Wayne twp for many years died at the home of his brother, JW Biddle in this place at 6:30 this evening after a lingering illness from a parlytic stroke suffered 3 months ago at the home in Wickersham, Washington. Following the attack in Washington, Mr. Biddle was brought here two months ago. His condition has been serious at all times but fatal hour dates from a sinking spell last Sunday from which he never rallied. The deceased was a son of Lawson and Calestia Biddle, prominent citizens of Wayne. He was born and reared and lived the most of his life on the farm north of this place. For a time he was in the livery busines in this place. Two years ago he removed to Wickersham, Washington wehre he was engaged in busienss until the affliction came. He is survived by four children: Mrs. Albert Duke, Clarence, James and Ruth Emma Biddle of this place. Besides these, he is survived by his aged mother, two brothers, JW and Samuel and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Swank of this place and Mrs. Howard Vaughn of Wickersham. Waynetown Feb 11 - Phillip A. Biddle, forty years old died at six Thursday evening at the home of his brother, John W. Biddle here, paralysis causing his demise. He became ill 3 months ago at Wickersham, Washington and was brought to Waynetown by his brother. During the past week his condition had gradually become weaker. His affliction at first was rheumatism but before his death he became almost wholly paralyzed. The deceased was a son of Lawson and Calista Biddle. He is survived by his mother, two brothers, Samuel and John of Waynetown, two sisters, Mrs. Charles Swank of Waynetown and Mrs. Howard Vaughan of Washington and two sons, 15 and 17 years old respectively. Mr. Biddle was in the livery business here before he went to Washington. Funeral services will be from the brothers' home Sunday. - kbz
