Waynetown, Oct 12 - Samuel T. Biddle, 67, well know local resident, died suddenly Wednesday afternoon at the Livengood Gravel pit four miles south of Hillsboro where he had gone to fish in company with two friends, Wilbur Lough and James Myers. The party left here shortly after one o'clock and Mr. Biddle died soon after arrival at the gravel pit. Heart trouble was the cause of his death. The deceased was born near Waynetown Dec 25, 1865, the son of Lawson and Carlista Wood Biddle. He was married to Sarah Harshbarger Jan 25, 1887. Mr. Biddle was a member of the Liberty Christian Church and Masonic, K. of P., and IOOF Lodges. Mr. Biddle was known as an ardent sportsman, having been particularly enthusiastic about hunting and fishing. He had resided in this vicinity all of his life, the last 12 years in Waynetown. Surviving are the widow and two sisters, Mrs. Dollie Swank of Waynetown and Mrs. Pearl Vaughan of Wanatchee, Washington. The body will lie in state at the Waynetown Christian Church from one o'clock until two o'clock Saturday and funeral services will followin charge of the Rev. John Servies of Waynetown. The place of burial has not yet been decided.
