Armilda EVANS was born on a farm near Russellville, Putnam Co. Ind. June 15, 1854. She was the daughter of Jeremiah and Sarah Ann EVANS. Her parents died when she was quite small and she was reared in the home of her grandparents, James EVANS and wife. She attended the Russellville Collegiate Academy. She was married on October 31, 1874 to John W. Bilbo of Waveland they afterwards removed to Russellville, there they have lived for many years. She departed this life on December 31, 1919 at her home here after a brief illness at the age of 65 years 15 months and fifteen days. Survivors are her husband Frank. Burial was in the local cemetery.
