Services were conducted Dec. 26 for Dawson Gay Black, 72, of Denison, Tex. He was the father of Mrs. Jackie Murdock of Rt. 8, Crawfordsville. He was buried at Greenville, Tex. He died Tuesday, Dec. 23, in Memorial Hospital at Denison. Mr. Black was born Jan. 1, 1903, at Celeste, Tex. He was a retired barber and had been in ill health for several months. Surviving are the widow, Berah; two daughters, Mrs. Murdock and Vernell Latimer of Denison; a granddaughter, Jane Murdock Kincaid of Bloomington; and a great-granddaughter, Angela Jo Kincaid of Bloomington. – jlr
