Donald, 10-months old son of Mrs. Ida Black who keeps house for Mr. Oscar Moody, half mile north of here was instantly killed on Friday night when trampled by cattle in the barn. Mrs. Black had gone to Browns Valley with Miss Velma Moody and had left the child in the care of Mr. Moody. According to report he took the child to the barn where he went to repair his automobile. When he turned on the lights the cattle, which he did not know were in the barn became frightened and stampeded and trampled the child to death. Funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon at the Christian Church conducted by Rev. RD Thomas. Burial at Raccoon. - typed by kbz
