Waynetown - Mrs. Florence Black, 79, of Waynetown, died Tuesday night in Culver Hospital where she had been a patient one hours. She had been employed by RR Donnelley and after retirement worked part time at the Wayne Cafe. She was a member of Freedom Christian Church in Pulaski County, KY but attended the Waynetown Christian Church. She was born Sept 20, 1906 daughter of Thomas J. and Frances (Bishop) McCrackin. She married Rennie Black. He preceded her in death. Surviving are a son, Earl B of Peoria, Ill; two daughters, Mrs. Estell (Myrtle) Claycomb and Miss Blanche Black, both of Waynetown; five grandchildre and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday in Thomas Funeral Home, Waynetown. The Rev. Herbert Woollard and Rev. Jack Swank will officiate. Burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. - kbz
