Waynetown - Rennie Heba Black, 67, died at 6:15 p.m. Sunday 20 minutes after entering Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. He had been suffering from a heart ailment the past 4 years and had been seriously ill one day. Born November 28, 1893 in Glasgow, KY he was a son of Hiram and Sarah Bishop Black. He married Florence McCracken Dec 17, 1916 in KY. Mr. Black attended school in KY and moved to Montgomery County 1936. He lived near Alamo before moving to this community in 1940. He was employed by RR Donnelley & Wabash College before his health began failing. Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Miss Blanche Black at home, and Mrs. Myrtle Claycomb of Waynetown; a son, Earl of Peoria, Ill; a brother, Tom of KY; three grandsons, Elvin and Estell Claycomb, both of Waynetown and Gary Black of Waynetown; two granddaughtesr, Victoria and Dianna Black of Peoria. He was preceded in death by a brother, Victor and three sisters, Mrs. Nellie McCracken; Mrs. Montie Griffin and Miss Lillie Black. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday Servies Funeral Home here with Rev. John A. Coil pastor of the Waynetown Christian Church in charge. Burial in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Monday.
