Mrs. Dora Ethel Blacker, 75, of 108 E Chestnut St died at 11:40 a.m. Friday in Culver Hospital where she had been a patient one hour. Death followed an extended illness. Born March 27, 1891, she was a daughter of George and Sarah Young Oppy. She was married in 1907 to Hoy Blacker, who preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons, Clyde N. and Harry R, both of Crawfordsville; a brother, Ernest Oppy of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Mrs. Winton Miller of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Bertha Allen of Romney; a half - brother, William Stites of Fresno, Calif and two granddaughters. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John Servies officiating. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery near Wingate. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday. - kbz
