Isaac Newton Blake, age 81, died at his home near Ferndale, Friday. He was a native of Parke County and had spent most of his life in Union Township. He was a member of the New Discovery Baptist church and the Odd Fellows Lodge of Dana. Surviving are one son, Clyde N. Blake of St. Bernice; 3 daughters: Mrs. Minnie D. Ferris of Santa Ana, Calif; Mrs. Hazel Branson of Dana and Miss Okey C. Blake at home; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Mrs. George Slavens and Mrs. Zura Monroe are nieces. Funeral services were held in the new Discovery church at 2 o'clock, Sunday afternoon, Rev. Richmond Blake of Rockville officiating. Burial in Blake Cemetery. From: Rockville Republican. - kbz
