New Ross - Ethel S. Blankenship, 63, of New Ross, died Friday afternoon in St. Vincent Hospital at Indianapolis. She had been ill for the past seven weeks. She was born June 4, 1889 in Knoxville, Tenn., the daughter of Eli and America Rosenbaum Branson. Her first husband was Daniel Wolfenbarger, who died in 1930. In 1933 she married Virgil Blankenship, who survives. Other survivors include a brother, W. A. Branson of Knoxville; a son, Conrad Wolfenbarger of St. Petersburg, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. JoAnn Poole of Pendleton, Ind.; Mrs. Merrill Leeke of Jamestown, and Mrs. Dorothy Winters of Mayport, Fla., and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Monday at the Walker Funeral Home in Jamestown. Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery there. - thanks to Lena
