The deceased was born Feb 4, 1852 at Williamsport, the daughter of Daniel and Julia Hall Baker. She was married to Alexander M. Bible in 1877. She was a member of the Waynetown ME Church and one of the most prominent women in this community.
Waynetown, Jan 19 - Harriet C. Bible, well known resident of this place died at her home at 9 o'clock this morning, after only a day's illness from paralysis
The deceased was born Feb 4, 1852 at Williamsport, the daughter of Daniel and Julia Hall Baker. She was married to Alexander M. Bible in 1877. She was a member of the Waynetown ME Church and one of the most prominent women in this community.
Surviving are one son, Robert with whom she made her home; two granddaughters, Ernestine Hatton and Vivian Bible; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Coon of Rossville and Mrs. Ann Davis of Clay City, Kansas.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at the home at 2 o'clock p.m. with Rev. Chivington of Hillsboro in charge. Burial will be at the Masonic cemetery in Waynetown. - kbz
