Crawfordsville – Homer E. Biddle, 77, retired Crawfordsville and Montgomery County school teacher died in Culver Hospital at 10:35 p.m. Saturday. He had been ill since suffering a cerebral hemorrhage Sept 30. Native of the Waynetown community, he taught in Crawfordsville HS for 37 years and in Montgomery County schools for 12 years. He was educated at Valparaiso University and State Teachers college, Terre Haute. He retired five years ago after having taught manual training classes in the high school. He was married to Nora E. Willhite and was a member of the First Baptist Church of which he was a deacon and member of committees. Surviving with the widow are a son, Ernest of Crawfordsville and a brother, EJ Biddle, Waynetown. -kbz
