Waynetown, Ind Dec 11 – Mrs. Lyda Anne Biddle, wife of Elmer J. Biddle of Waynetown died at her home here at 7 o’clock Saturday evening culminating a two-year-period of declining health which became serious three weeks ago. Mrs. Biddle was born on a farm near here March 18, 1889, the daughter of Jacob A. and Sarah (Lidster) Zerface. She married Elmer Biddle October 14, 1909 and was a member of the Christian Church and of the Order of Eastern Star. Surviving are the husband; one daughter, Miss Thelma Biddle living at home; her mother, Mrs. Zerface who lives with them and two brothers, Sidney Zerface of Tower City, N Dak and Dr. J. Ernest Zerface of Chicago.  Funeral services will be conducted from the Waynetown Christian Church Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock with Rev. WD Headrick of Indianapolis officiating.  Burial will be in the Masonic cemetery. – kbz
